If you have decent sign intensity, itll set damn near anything on fire every time, and burning enemies are too busy standing there screaming to attack you.

Ive found Igni is better used for crowd control than damage. but dont use firestream, i tried for a while to find a useful applications for it. The burnt crackling damage is showing on the ground, also enemies are taking damage but there are no flames either. Just hold down the sign button to activate the alternate sign mode. Not literally, but damage and effect on opponents are watered down. The animation of the firestream coming from geralts hand is not showing. The fire stream is nothing more then a weak water cannon now. This is by far the best build in the game this hybrid of Combat and Alchemy is widely used in The Witcher 3's Death March difficulty due to its sustain. BUG Igni Firestream I've been using the igni firestream for a while & never had any problems until now.
